BILLET ALUMINUM FORWARD CONTROL KIT FOR DYNA
Accurate reproduction of the shifter rods, ball joints and swivel bolts as used on many 5-speed Big Twin, 5-speed Twin Cam and 6-speed Twin Cam models. Shifter rods, ball joints and swivel bolts are threaded 5/16-24 UNF. Available as a complete shifter rod kit that comes with one ball joint style rod end and one swivel bolt. For custom applications and repair jobs we also have individual shifter rods in stock and over stock length, as well as rod end kits.
CNC machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum, finished in show chrome or black with clear highlights. Shifter rods fit with the stock swivel rod ends but this might be the time to upgrade to ball joint (a.k.a. Heim joint) rod ends for easy adjustment and smooth operation.
Billet aluminum forward control kit for all Dyna Glide models from 1991-2005. Stock replacement for the Original Equipment parts as fitted on Dyna Wide Glide models from 1993-2002, but can also be used on all other 1991 thru 2005 Dyna models when eliminating the mid mount controls. The included brake rod connects to the stock rear brake master cylinder in the original position. Shifter rod and shifter rod ends must be ordered separately.
